Julia Gouw

Ms. Gouw is a retired former President, Chief Operating Officer and a member of the board of directors of East West Bancorp, Inc. and East West Bank, with 28 years of banking experience focused on small to mid-sized commercial banking. She served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 2008, and as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2009 through her retirement in March 2016. Prior to joining East West Bank, she was a Senior Audit Manager with KPMG LLP. Ms. Gouw currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Pacific Mutual Holding Company, VIZIO and a Commissioner of the Ontario International Airport Authority. Ms. Gouw earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and she is a certified public accountant.
